Question 1

Cloud computing uses different types of hardware as well as software to deliver services over the Internet. The name ‘cloud computing’ arose from the use of the symbol that is essentially in the shape of a cloud. This denotes the complex infrastructure that is involved in the system. In this computing system, the user’s data is entrusted with the remote service provider. In terms of business, the system gives users access to different databases as well as software. For instance, Saas, also referred to as “on demand software”, enables users to use the systems on a “pay-per-use” basis. This essentially allows the business potential to significantly reduce the cost of online services by outsourcing rather than owning the entire system. Cloud computing has been credited with enabling enterprises’ application to be up and running all the time. Indeed, it also enhances the speed, manageability and adjustability to business demands (Joha and Janssen, 2012).

There is no doubt that the cloud service provider is safe and reliably secure. It makes the use of IT compliance frameworks that essentially provide it with the best practices across domains. For instance, the fact that COBIT is largely oriented to business makes it possible to merge the goals of a business to those of IT. It also provides metrics as well as maturity models that can be used to determine their relative achievements. In addition, it can be used to determine the associated responsibilities of business owners and, to some extent, IT process owners. On the other hand, there is ENISA, which is the agency invented by EU in 2004 and later became operational in 2006. The fundamental objective of ENISA has always remained to improve information security within the European Union. In the long run, it is anticipated that it will play a pivotal role in the establishment of the European Union Internal Market. It should be noted that ENISA is largely applied by the commission and the business community in order to meet the requirements of information security, especially with regards to national legislation. However, recent statistics indicate that ENISA could also have significant drawbacks on the security of information belonging to its users. This is why organizations are encouraged to have backup plans just in case something unwarranted happens to their service providers. It goes without saying that all indications show that the future generations will almost entirely depend on cloud computing. However, they will have to seal some of the loopholes that currently exist in the system (Brown, 2012).

Question 4

Notably, the Nabbesh social network site will significantly improve the level of trade between the Middle East and North Africa. This has a great potential considering that North Africa has a lot of natural resources including petroleum products. Thus, establishing trade relations between these regions will significantly impact the economies of the nations. This is based on the premise that the site is designed in such a manner that it enables professionals to display their skills and potential clients to ask for their services. In the past, media access seriously stifled the policies of the sitting governments. Thus, opening the communication space in a realistic manner will significantly improve online trade in the country. According to analysts, the site will enable the use of English as a language, thereby enabling easy communication with the rest of the world. In the end, the region will have a new form of politics as well as a political system that is globally accepted (Joha and Janssen, 2012).

The introduction of this technology is likely to change the face of my career. For instance, it will globalize the career thereby making it far more competitive than it currently is. This will make it imperative for me to adopt global trends, so as to keep pace with the global advancements. The fact that North America and Middle East have been locked up for a long time made it difficult for careers to integrate international standards. Professionals opted to apply their own standards that were undoubtedly of low quality. It is, therefore, good news that with this system I will become more competitive in the global market. Essentially, it will increase the job opportunities accessible in the career. Nonetheless, this is also likely to open local markets to international competition as foreigners will seek the same opportunities. As a matter of fact, my career will have to adopt continuous education on a regular basis to help professionally knowing the global trends. In addition, the country will have to invest more into the career development, because there are significant changes that will have to be made in the system to adjust it to the international level (Brown, 2012).

In conclusion, cloud computing has been credited with enabling enterprises’ application to be up and running all the time. Indeed, it also enhances the speed, manageability and adjustability to business demands. Cloud Service Provider makes use of IT compliance frameworks that essentially provide it with the best practices across domains.
